So I actually pulled an all-nighter last year. Midnight till about 11:30am. I went out with my mom and my sister, then met my mother-in-law and sister-in-law around 6am and stayed with them the rest of the morning. I was a lot of fun, but...
Sooooooooo not doing that again!!!! Well, maybe....
I got everything I needed for Christmas gifts, but I was so wiped out for the rest of the weekend.
What are your plans this year? Are you staying in or going out?
Be sure to leave a comment to win a $5 Amazon gift card from me and a copy of my new novella Open House: Pool of Souls Book 1
Intrinsically woven into the fabric of human existence, Aphrodite, Titan Goddess of Love and Passion, dedicates herself to matching soul mates.
Rebecca Carol and Robert Corvin missed their original chance to bond when Ares, God of War, took control of Robert's career ten years ago. Their souls have naturally pulled them back together for a second chance at love, but...How far will the gods go to get their own way?
Will divine influence create another perfect match or will it tear them apart forever?

Rebecca opened the bag of takeout and handed Robert his box of lo mein while she went looking for her edamame and salt. She grabbed a mini eggroll and popped it into her mouth. The fried crispy pork and veggie flavors were heaven in her mouth. She moaned in satisfaction. The beans were at the bottom of the sack. She pulled out the box and popped open the little container of salt.
“Good?” Robert asked before shoveling a bite of noodles into his mouth.
“Delicious. Want one?” Rebecca held out another mini egg roll. Robert shook his head. She shrugged and popped it into her mouth as well. He chuckled.
“What if I changed my mind?”
“It’s too late now, genius; I swallowed it.” Rebecca laughed and broke open an edamame bean. She licked the salt off the pod and sucked the three little soybeans into her mouth. When she glanced up from her food, she couldn’t help but smirk. Robert had frozen in place, chopsticks midway to his mouth, and was just watching her eat. His brown eyes had darkened, and he was looking at her as though she were dinner instead of the lo mein.

I'm feeling way behind - no Christmas shopping done yet, Black Friday or otherwise! Thanks for being in the hop!
ReplyDeletejochibi AT yahoo DOT com
We did actually venture out this morning at hit Home Depot at 5:00 a.m. for a tree. Every single Christmas item we had burned in a shed fire we had back in April. While I am mourning the loss of 50+ years of holiday collectibles, I am grateful for our home, safety, and health. SO, getting this tree, our first "start over" Christmas item, made this a bittersweet Black Friday.
ReplyDeletecatherinelee100 at gmail dot com

Didn't go out shopping this morning, crowds that big scare me.
ReplyDeleteMorganlafey86(at)aol(dot)com
This is the BEST way to spend Black Friday. Sitting at home, hopping with old friends and making new ones. I can't handle the crowds anymore so I only do Black Friday shopping online if I do any. Today I got a programmable slow cooker for $9.99 online and got free shipping too. Didn’t even have to get dressed LOL. I am a sucker for the Happily Ever After which is why I like the romance books. I especially like the paranormal or futuristic romance books with hot sexy alpha heroes and kick-ass heroines. Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win. <^_^>

I'm staying home--not just because I hate BF, but also because I'm busy trying to redo my upstairs. Also, as we just got two new dogs a few days back, I'm trying to get them trained and happy. Harder to do when I already have two cats--they, needless to say, are NOT at all happy with us. LOL.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!

I hit the stores last night. They didn't open until 1:00 here in MA, but I was in line at 10:00 with my teen daughter. It's the only day of the year that I actually thrive on the lines and crowds. You won't see me going near any large store or mall for the rest of the season.
ReplyDeletekesummer69(at)gmail(dot)com
well, I went out... But only to a couple stores at around 7:30 this morning as i figured the stores i would be going to would be slow and not busy... I was right got what i needed and got out.. now home.. Like a good deal but not the craziness.

It's been so fun reading everyone's comments. I see a theme of no shopping though. I have to confess I broke down again this year and went shopping. LOL, I did not however pull another all nighter, but I did spend the entire day 9am to 4pm with my mom, sister, and sister-in-law. It was fabulous, not too busy, and we had a great day.
