Six Sentence Sunday #2




She turned her head and glared up at Ares.  He didn’t scare her in the least.  She loved his passion and heat.  It excited her and was probably why she derived such pleasure from irritating him.
            “I’m keeping them for now.”
            “Fine.  You will wish you hadn’t.” 
            Aphrodite saw his eyes flash red before he phased out of her garden.
            “Shit.”
